Tennis Shoe Ministry
For the past few years a church from Maryland has come down to Shell and blessed every one they come in contact with. Pleasant View Baptist has a tennis shoe ministry. They collect tennis shoes throughout the year for a certain group here in Shell. Last year it was for the Alas hangar staff. This year it was for the Shell missionaries. They hosted a meal and then proceeded to wash our feet and bless us with new socks and shoes. What a neat experience! Thank you Pleasant View for your commitment to us and our community here!
