Fun Stuff
Last week I was able to help paint the school's library. We had planned to paint when a family with 3 older boys would be here volunteering at the HCJB hospital. They were a great help, as was another missionary. We had planned to paint the walls - that seemed like enough work, since we had to move all of the bookshelves. Well, the hospital maintenance man (the school is owned by the hospital) had other ideas. He was told that we needed to also take down the drop ceiling and repaint it as well, since there wasn't enough money to replace it. The problem was that we only had 3 days to get the job done and we didn't have many hands. The neat "coincidence" is that another missionary friend needed a 2 day job for a workteam from the US to do until they were to start another project. God is amazing. He gives you exactly what you need, when you need it.

Wow! That's a huge project I'm not sure I'd be willing to tackle. I'll bet it looks so nice now, though. The library at the school here in Salatiga smells just like the library at NSMS. sniff. sniff.
