Happy Birthday!!
This is your last birthday survey! I'm not crying....you're crying! You know when people say to you when your kids are toddlers - the days are long, but the years are short - I didn't believe them. But it's true. How in the world did we all get so old! and our kids so old too!
What can we say about this girl that we haven't said a thousand times? She makes us laugh everyday, cry occasionally too, but that's just the way life is. She continues to be a champion for the underdog, something she's done since she was in elementary school, and rejoices in others triumphs and successes as if they were her own. She is dedicated and strives to be the hardest worker at whatever she is doing. Olivia's laugh is contagious and even if you're groaning at her puns you're laughing on the inside. She is thrifty to a fault (just like her mom) and gets as excited to save a $ as she is to get something new. She and her brother are each other's best friend and they have been since they were little.
Our prayer for Olivia, as she steps into adulthood, is that she will be deaf to the lies this world shouts at her everyday yet always hear the still, small voice of her Father who calls her by name. We pray that she will grow into the certainty and confidence of the talents and giftings He has given her and be bold in every step He leads her in. We love you little Squirrel!
