Standardization Flying

After a missionary raises support, they then travel back to Idaho to attend Orientation and Standardization.  Chad's department is in charge of the Standardization.  This is specialized training to make sure our field programs are getting pilots that are all at the same level of ability.  It's also a bit of a rite-of-passage as they end their training with a multiple night overnight trip to the Idaho back country.  The airstrips there mimic what our pilots will encounter as they fly overseas.

Fueling the plane in the "back country" looks a little different.
