Last weekend was the annual "Shell Days." Nate Saint Memorial School (NSMS) is usually a part of the festivities by participating in the parade. This year we were not involved, so I thought it would be fun to take the kids to just watch. Well, maybe we'll skip it next year! Let's just say there was waaaaaay more skin showing on waaaaay too many girls than we would've liked! Even on the little girls. The sad part is that it wasn't just one school group that had tacky costumes, it was the majority. The clincher was when a float went by with a naked young lady that was covered in a painted design! Watching my friend Margie's face when she got her first view of her was priceless! What an interesting cultural experience! Here's some more tasteful pictures...thankfully Chad didn't take any of the naked lady....sorry :)
