I currently hold the title of "librarian" for the Nate Saint Memorial School. Last year when the librarian was moving I decided that I would do the job if no one else stepped up. So, you know what that means! No one else stepped in, so I thought I would at least be trained and help until someone more "qualified" came along. Well, it's been almost a whole school year, and I actually like the job. Isn't God funny?! I don't feel qualified and can't help the kids as well as I would like sometimes because I lack knowledge about authors etc. But, I'm learning. Plus, it's a great way to spend some time with all of the kids.

I still remember learning the Dewey Decimal system and I LOVED the card catalog!
ReplyDeleteWhen I ask the girls what they enjoy about school, visiting the library is always on their list of things they enjoy. You must be doing a great job! So fun to see pictures of our Valerie - thank you for sharing and for serving!
