PVC Serving Others

I'm so behind on blogging!  I still have so many pictures I want to share from PVC and that trip happened 2 months ago!  Some day I will catch up!

The PVC team were all such great workers with real heart to serve how ever they were needed.  They spent a couple days at the Casa de Fe orphanage (which I don't have pictures of!) and the rest of the time was spent working at the Nate Saint Memorial School (where our kids attend).  The plan was to paint 1 classroom and put in a drop ceiling in another.  To prove how great this team was here's what they accomplished:  painted 2 classrooms and an outside wall, installed a drop ceiling, refinished 3 shelving units and 2 picnic tables, and painted some cubbie organizers and 2 other cabinets....not to mention they cleaned and put everything back together to make it all look nice.  AMAZING!

Because the team worked so great, we finished everything, and then some, a day early, we went to Baños for the day.  We were able to hike to another waterfall - Pilon del Diablo.

Not only did the team serve at the orphanage and the school, but they also sponsored a clothes drive for the youth of our church here.  They brought so many great things that really blessed our church.  It's fun to see Ohio State represented at church!!
