Sometimes it's hard to be away....
The longer we live overseas, the easier it gets to not feel homesick too often. Ok, so at least not as often as when we first left! But, it's milestones in my family's life that makes it hard for me to be so far away. Tomorrow is not only my mom's birthday, but my niece's graduation from high school. It's amazing how, as you get older, life seems to fly by and kids grow up in the blink of an eye. It seems like yesterday that my mom was calling me at Bluffton College to tell me that Jessica had been born. It's been great to see her grow (even from afar) into such a lovely young lady and it's exciting to see what plans God has for her.
