Casa de Fe

Last weekend I had the privilege of "helping" at the Casa de Fe Orphanage .  I was asked to take pictures as they moved the kids from their old facility to their new one.  It was so fun to see the kids expressions as they saw their new house for the first time.  It was kind of like Christmas as they searched out their beds with their new organizers, new bedding and their very own, new stuffed animal.  I'm grateful to have been able to witness it all.

The old building....

And the new.....

Casa de Fe was started by Patti Sue Arnold around the time that we moved to Shell - 7 years ago.  I still remember when she got her first child and she called me to see if I had any clothes that she could have for him.  She now has around 50 (that's a guess) kids!

The organizers on the beds were made by women at MAFs headquarters.

  1. Chad, it was so fun seeing these pictures! The organizers look so awesome on the beds, and I love that they were stuffed with new, fun things for the kids! I want to come back soon and have more time to love on them!
