Meet Lou

We "inherited" Lou from former MAF missionaries, the Hoffmans, when they left Shell about 6 years ago.  She is a sweet dog, who suffers from obesity!  We don't feed her all that much (except when my parents are here slipping her food) - but she still keeps her lovely waist line....or lack there of!

She's also a great guard dog.  She is definitely racist, as she mainly barks at Ecuadorians and not "gringos"!  She also "caught" a snake for us this weekend.  My dad was sitting inside when he saw Lou playing with something by throwing it into the air.  Low and behold, it was a snake!!  Thankfully my dad then ran and got a shovel and took care of Lou's chew toy, before it took care of her!

You know you're not a missionary when you chop the head off before you take the picture!  Oh, my dad has so much to learn!!

Josiah said that grandpa needed to go home because we always seem to find snakes when he's around.  The next picture is of another snake Chad found in our hallway....yes, our hallway, right before he left.

  1. I am so glad that we don't have snakes like that around here. Chad was telling us about the snake that was in your house before he came to Idaho.
