Water Day

NSMS recently held their annual "water day" in conjunction with Carnival weekend.  Carnival/Mardi Gras is a time of celebration before lent.  Here in Ecuador it means that it's not safe to be out on the street, as many young people are involved in water games and throwing all kinds of things like, flour, oil, and eggs.  But, never the less, the kids and teachers had a great time getting each other wet...and also going home early!

The kids from each class got the chance to throw a tennis ball through a hoop.  If they were successful then Mattias popped a water balloon on their teacher's head!  Here is Mrs. Martin's experience!
