Pailon del Diablo

We have a list of things to do "one more time" before we leave Ecuador.  One of those was a visit to the waterfall known as the "Devil's punchbowl".  It's only about a 45 minute drive from our house, but we hadn't gone, as a family, in a while.   So, when the Bilimeks' wanted to do something, we knew just where to take them.  We had a blast and enjoyed one of our "lasts"... at least for now.

We had enough time that we did two hikes.  One takes you down to the bottom of the falls and is a pretty steep hike.  After sweating our way back up to the top, we headed over to another entrance to the falls to hike to the top.

It might look like Chad is taller than Josiah in this picture, but he's not fooling anyone.
